Importance of Communication in Family Relationships..

Hey guys, am back after a long long time. so. let's start with our conversation. these days it's very common to see that values of relationships are not up to mark. there is frustration in people for their own family members. this keeps on increasing and suddenly the bond of love breaks n then there is beginning of a partitioning in family. now, that's what we all know but issue of concern is why all these thing are happening. what are the reasons? how to get back that lost sweetness of our relationships? there are many reasons for this and a major issue is generation gap n lack of communication in persons belonging to same family. what happens is everybody is busy in his/her own life. even children n parents are not having time for each other. parents are busy with their jobs. children are in their studies friend circle and all. it's not like they don't wanna talk to each other but problem is that whenever they are together none of them says anything. these days situation is like in a few families children n parents interact only at dining table. otherwise it hardly matters if they are spending time together or not. but that's what one watches or thinks after having a look at daily routines of them. but what about the things going on in their mind? parents are always complaining in their mind that their son/daughter is busy in her own life, he isn't giving us time. he never asked us about our problems. on the other hand what child thinks, mom why don't u show care for me as u used to show before? dad, why don't u think now i am grown enough to help out with ma suggestions in our family issues? you both keeps me sayin that i don't talk to u both in a well behaved manner or u says where is ma smile? u both jus keep on showing anger for that. have you both ever tried to be a friend of mine n ask me that whats the problem? i need you both. please talk to me. please try to understand me.
god, see both are thinking same thing but nobody is trying to come forward. none of them tries to start these talks. y? because parents think child isn't interested n child thinks ma pa will get angry if i would talk that way..
sometimes such conversation takes place from one end.. but, generation gap makes issue worse. just imagine a situation like parents started the topic and suddenly what happens conversation  turns into arguments and debates. just because parents want their child to live the way they want while child is forcing parents to understand demands of today. n suddenly everything gets worse. only one thing can help out here. both of them will have to adjust.. adjust as much as you can. but only one side adjustment won't work here. both of them will have to adjust a bit. otherwise conditions will keep getting worse and situation would be like u will loose your most precious relations. so try to take a step ahead, start the talks.. give some time and take some time from them as well. if you are a child try to make ur parents understand yourself again n again, if you are a parent, don't just keep on showing anger, just place a hand of care on your's child's head, then try to understand him and tell him what do u think.. please move ahead.. these relations are really valuable..

WoW...!! What a day it was for ourselves.. Today w had a seminar conducted by Microsoft in our university campus... attending this one was really an amazing experience and obviously compell me to attend more n more whenever i get the opportunity...
Most interesting part for me was introduction to Pranav Mistry and his Sixth Sense..
let me tell you guys a little bit about him....
Pranav Mistry is the inventor of Sixth Sense, a wearable device that enables new interactions between the real world and the world of data.
Pranav Mistry is a PhD student in the Fluid Interfaces Group at MIT's Media Lab. Before his studies at MIT, he worked with Microsoft as a UX researcher; he's a graduate of IIT. Mistry is passionate about integrating the digital informational experience with our real-world interactions.
Some previous projects from Mistry's work at MIT includes intelligent sticky notes, quickies, that can be searched and can send reminders; a pen draws in 3D; and TaPuMa, a tangible public map that can act as Google of physical world. His research interests also include Gestural and Tangible Interaction, Ubiquitous Computing, AI, Machine Vision, Collective Intelligence and Robotics.
Today we were shown this video of his sixth sense Demo... the link is gven below... you guys plzz do watch it..
Pranav Mistry: The thrilling potential of SixthSense technology | Video on TED.com

after this lectures were delivered on concept of cloud computing.. this was also very nice concept.. it's a new client-server taking over the traditional one.. then we were told about Microsoft windows Azure whose kernel is entirely different from other operating system coz this one is specially designed for Cloud computing (Cloud computing is internet-based computing, whereby shared resources, software and information are provided to computers and other devices on-demand, like a public utility.)

then it was time for Microsoft Photosynth....
Photosynth is a software application from Microsoft Live Labs at the University of Washington analyzes generates a 3D Model of the photos and a Point Cloud of a photographed object. Pattern recognition components compare portions of images to create points, which are then compared to convert the image into a model.
The Photosynth technology works in two steps. The first step involves the analysis of multiple photographs taken of the same area. Each photograph is processed using an Interest Point Detection and matching algorithm developed by Microsoft Research which is similar in function to UBC's Scale-Invariant Feature Transform. This process identifies specific features, for example the corner of a window frame or a door handle. Features in one photograph are then compared to and matched with the same features in the other photographs. Thus photographs of the same areas are identified. By analyzing the position of matching features within each photograph, the program can identify which photographs belong on which side of others. By analyzing subtle differences in the relationships between the features (angle, distance, etc.), the program identifies the 3D position of each feature, as well as the position and angle at which each photograph was taken. This process is known scientifically as Bundle adjustment and is commonly used in the field of Photogrammetry with similar products available such as Imodeller, D-Sculptor, an Rhinoceros. This first step is extremely computationally intensive, but only has to be performed once on each set of photographs.
The second step involves the display of and navigation through the 3D point cloud of features identified in the first step. This is done with the publicly downloadable Photosynth viewer. The viewer resides on a client computer and maintains a connection to a server that stores the original photographs. It enables a user to, among other things, see any of the photographs from their original vantage point. It incorporates Deep Zoom technology Microsoft obtained through its acquisition of Seadragon in January 2006. The Seadragon enables smooth zooming into the high-resolution photographs without downloading them to the user's machine.

Then we discussed the NATAL Project which is newest gaming technology till date...
Project Natal (pronounced /nəˈtæl/ nə-tal) is the code name for a "controller-free gaming and entertainment experience" by Microsoft for the Xbox 360 video game platform. Based on an add-on peripheral for the Xbox 360 console, it enables users to control and interact with the Xbox 360 without the need to touch a game controller through a natural user interface using gestures, spoken commands, or presented objects and images. The project is aimed at broadening the Xbox 360's audience beyond its typical gamer base.
check out this interesting video n am damn sure that you will be amazed....

After this it was the time for robotics..... during this session there were lots n lots of controversies which were solved nicely by the visitors... at the end they said robot is just undefined.. this session was not that much interesting...

At the end we were told about the various events organised by Microsoft all around the world especially for the students who have talent but don' get right platform to show it...

so overall it was a very good experience n at present i have no reason to regret for those 3 hours which i spent for getting registered for this event... Thanks a lot to organizers.., Microsoft India and last but not least LPU......
Gud night Friends.... sorry it's morning now....

Were 3 IDIOTS really IDIOTS...!!

hey friends.. hello.... meeting after a very long period.. right....?? so today's topic is all about the way today most of the parents handle their child.... i have particularly chosen the Title 3 IDIOTS coz this movie was not all about friendship or college life... it had a very strong message that how parents strongly compel their children to move forward on h way they wants.. "Amir khan" highlighted this issue in "Taare Zameen Par" too... as the movie told that every child is special, that's a fact.. everybody have some hidden talent.. only thing required is to find it out... why do everybody want an engineer or Doctor in his/her home.... tell me don't the painters/singers/musicians/actors/models/etc.. have successful lives...?
all of them are successful coz they were capable of working hard for achieving their goals.. what will one do if his own parents(which one thinks that will support him at any cost) starts criticizing him..? that's what we call generation gap... now it's duty of ourselves to make our parents understand our feelings.. but one more thing is that we will have to admit if they are stopping ourselves from doing something wrong... so if we really want to move forward smoothly..., mutual understanding is required... so let's understand them n let them understand ourselves...
thanxxx....

Hi friends today i m going 2 highlight an issue which is the worst evil of our society.. all the problems of our country are due to this cheap thing RESERVATION..!! what a foolish idea that if someone belongs to lower cast or backward area and now if u r a girl you are going to have better chances of getting good job/quality education.. just tel me that what about those who r left where will they go.. is there anything left for them... today if 6 seats are available for a course then only 2 out of them are available for general category....
why can't we offer opportunities on behalf of someone's talent. is cast/religion/region bigger than our achievements...., our talent....?? what the hell is going on in our country... these bloody politicians who delivers speech about all this religion-ism cast-ism etc. they are responsible for this.. they are just looking towards their vote bank and bringing out a new reservation bill every month... they are dividing our country n ourselves in parts.... please Indians be united otherwise these bastards will crush you... i wish more voices will come out and join together to fight this evil..

SAVE OUR TIGERS

Tigers....!! yeah tigers, that's ma today's issue.. They are our National animal. isn't it so..? Can someone answer me that why do we are so much cruel to our National Symbol..? If we go through counting of TIGERS in our tiger reserves then a shocking figure comes out which is just 1411. yes is it enough for this species of big cats to retain their further generations. someday if a mother of a baby tiger goes out for getting some food for her son there is no garuntee of her return to cave.. some fools feels that it's a matter to feel proud if they have killed a Tiger without any reason. I ask them(those fools) what if in the same way somebody enters his house & kill his family-members and then left free to move on city streets.. My motive is to make people understand the importance of wild species in our lives. plz try to understand that if we want our survival don't be silly and perform such cheap activities like Killing or Hurting Wild species.. The land on which we are living is here donation to ourselves.. we are trying to restrict them in a limited area.. that's not possible.. they are already restricted in reserves... now do you want your ownership on their reserves...? if it is so you are the cheapest person of the world...... mind it...!! Don't b this much selfish.. good byee....

Don't jst criticize, come & change the System

Hello guys, that's ma first post.. let's start the discussion. we the human beings are very unpredictable. we changes our thoughts and views within seconds. today if we are feeling something wrong going on, later on we may be in favor f the same.. But my main point is what if we are continuously feeling that there is something wrong with some system, what we can do in that case..? that's the question.. our habit is to criticize the system/people. but is this the write way to tackle the situation..? can we Really bring the change in this way..? no..!! not at allll....
if we really do think that system should me changed then we ourselves will have to join the administration but problem is that nobody bothers about it.. When people are asked for it they start giving a list of reasons due to which they can't/won't do the job. I ask you why..? don't you have any responsibilities for your country..? if your answer is no then you have no right to criticize the system coz it is made/working with the help of the persons[LEADERS] chosen by you.. Give me he opportunity.. i'm always ready.. and one more thing is that it isn't task of 100-200 persons... entire youth will have to wake up. hold hands of each other and takeover the system that you can't accept. i promise you that if you'll b having this fire inside you nobody can stop you... all barriers will be broken.. please wake up.. that's demand of time.. we need change....... and as we have no options.., so we ourselves will have to become other option. only then MOB[the people] will favor you... Come-on guys...
